Born in Shenyang, China in 1965, Zhang Feng studied Bachelor and Masters degrees in sculpture at the Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts, before moving on to teach at the same institution.
He is now studying for a further degree at the New York Academy of Art. His work has featured in numerous solo exhibitions in China, USA and Europe, he has won various awards for his sculpture and is held in a number of collections worldwide.
