Youqua (active 1840-70), a ricepaper album
containing twelve landscape images of junks before a folly fort and mountains, brightly coloured fruits and flowers and various species of birds amongst flowering trees and rockwork, inscribed in ink to the first page 'Margueritta Mansell Sept.29th.1843', with paper label 'Youqua Painter, Old Street No 34' to reverse of first page -- each image approx. 6¾in. x 10¾in. (17.1cm. x 27.3cm.); and a second ricepaper album containing twelve portrait images of labourers working through the various processes of producing tea, inscribed in ink to the first page 'Margueritta Mansell 1843' -- each image approx. 10¼in. x 6¾in. (26cm. x 17.1cm.), both with silk brocade covers. (2)
