Alpes Maritimes, oil on canvas, signed lower left, 40 x 60cm (15.75 x 23.5ins), framed, with Arthur Tooth gallery label, and Walker Art Gallery, Liverpool, exhibition label to verso. Captain Richard 'Dick' Wyndham (1896-1948) studied under Harold Speed. An exhibition of his paintings was held by Arthur Tooth & Sons, March 22 to April 13, 1933, and a retrospective exhibition of his work was held at Henry Wyndham Fine Art, London in 1993. (1)
