Entitled and signed by the artist: Loudong Wu Weiye
Three seals of the artist: Jun Gong, Wei Ye Si Yin, Mei Cun
Dated bingshen year (1656)
Dedicated to Master Yu (Liang Qingbiao (1620-1691)
Four collector's seals of Liang Jingzhu (19th century)
Mounted with two letters from the artist to the master of the Diaoqiao Zhuang
Colophons at the end of the scroll by each of Liang Zhangju (1775-1849), He Shaoji (1799-1873), and Liang Jingshu

Note:
The artist's own inscription describes this calligraphy piece as accompanying a painting he executed, depicting the Diaoqiao Zhuang, for his friend the great collector and connoisseur, Liang Qingbiao. The scroll was subsequently lost and then was collected by Liang zhangju. When the 16th generation grandson of Liang Qingbiao saw this scroll, the painting was still intact.
