Contemporary English red straight-grained morocco, spine gilt in five compartments with double raised bands gilt lettered in one, single fillet on sides, gilt turn-ins, gilt edges, with A FORE-EDGE PAINTING OF CARISBROOKE CASTLE.

A FINE, EXTRA-ILLUSTRATED COPY OF THE FIRST EDITION of Worsley's History of the Isle of Wight, of which Worsley had been governor for some years.
