Willy Hamacher, German 1865-1909- "Blick von Camagore"; oil on panel, signed, bears label attached to the reverse, in a polychrome painted carved frame, 73x58.5cm Note: The title of this work is 'Scene near Camajore', a town on the Italian Riviera near Lucca,Tuscany Willy Hamacher was born in Breslau in 1865.and studied there under Carl Schirm and later at the Dusseldorf Academy with Eugene Ducker. Further studies in Paris, Berlin, and travels to the Italian Riviera. Represented in the following museums and galleries: Altenburg, Braunschweig ,Chemnitz, Erfurt, Gorlitz, Konigsberg, Prague, Posen.
