Condition Report

Original canvas. There is a stretcher bar mark and a craquelure pattern across the surface, which is made more obvious due to the surface dirt. A few small areas of discloured retouching in the sky. The work would improve from cleaning. Ultraviolet light reveals some pigments that fluoresce which appear to be pigments of the artist. There appears to be some retouching that relates to the discolourings in sky mentioned above. Held in an impressive original exhibition frame, some minor losses.
