William Stewart (1823-1906) THE DOLL'S TOILET signed lower right; inscribed on reverse with title and artist's address (Ardenmohr, Ardnadam) oil on canvas 56 by 41cm., 22 by 16in. Provenance: William Rodman and Co., Belfast; Private collection Almost certainly the same artist who exhibited nineteen works at the Glasgow Institute and eleven works at the Royal Scottish Academy from addresses in Glasgow and Girvan. He also loaned two of his watercolours to the Loan Museum of Art Treasures, Dublin, 1873.
