Here we see a representation of the Prince of Wales's Loyal Volunteers preparing to be reviewed by the King on Friday 28th October 1803 in Hyde Park. The day was unusually dark and foggy both before and immediately after the review, but at 10 o'clock, as the King arrived on the parade ground the weather cleared and remained so for three hours during the whole of the review.
