William Gaunt (1900-1980)
William Gaunt was a prodigious 20th Century London-based painter of Landscapes and urban scenes, and a sharp draughtsman, writer and art critic. He studied at Westminster School of Art under Walter Bayes and Bernard Meninsky before going on to exhibit at the RA, Redfern Gallery and Lefevre Gallery, as well as several one-man shows.
