PROPERTY FROM THE SPRINGEFELD COLLECTION

Zielke, of Polish origin, studied at Tashkent in the Soviet Union and in Munich, where he became a teacher in 1928. He was fascinated by the transformative possibilities of photography that gave a new visual materialisation to transparent substances such as glass and water.
