WASHBURN, Kenneth, (American, 1904-): ''Charley Morris's Place'', Ithaca, New York pastoral scene with farmhouse and tractor, Oil on canvas, 18in x 36in, signed lower right, titled verso and indicates that it was exhibited at the Rotary Show, encased in original antiqued finish, thick wide molding with wear and crackling to finish, 25in x 45in. Washburn was born in Franklinville, studied Fine Art at the presitgious Ivy League school, Cornell University, and eventually taught there for 22 years before moving to California. Condition - Some minor craquelure throughout, sporadic flecks of paint loss, several abrasions, several small repairs to paint loss.
