Signed lower right "This unspoiled scene of Barton Creek is a testament to the rugged beauty of the Texas Hill Country. The following inscription on the back of the painting gives us the actual location that is depicted: Bohl's Crossing - Scene on Barton Creek by M. Walton Leader, Austin, Texas. About 15 miles west of Austin on the Marble Falls road.." The painting is framed in an artist-designed hand-carved copper leaf frame
