Notes

Telcs was a pupil of Kaspar von Zumbusch in Vienna and was in turn master to the internationally acclaimed medallist, Paul Vincze (1907-1994). Telcs executed a number of memorial commissions and two notable examples of these works include, the Kossuth Memorial in Kecskemét and the Dezsõ Szilágyi Memorial in Telepes. The Hungarian National Gallery house a number of his works.
