Album containing 21 silver gelatin prints, each approx. 6 x 8 inches, mounted recto and verso, featuring images of California missions, the Petrified Forest, Moqui Indians and their pueblos, and views of the Los Angeles/Pasadena area, 1895-1900?, some images with mild oxidation and offset from adhesive, album spine perished, corners with loss.

An attractive collection of views of California and the west by Vroman, including "Hopi towns, grinding corn, Twea (A126)," " Moqui Interpreter and Navajo (A128)," "Walpi (Moqui Town) from North (A121)," "In Third Petrified Forest, Pulpit Rocks," "Petrified Forest--one of the largest logs" (A136), "San Luis Rey Mission 8, the Altar," a variant image of 371, The Discarded Saints at San Gabriel Mission, a variant image of 373, the Fathers and Brothers of San Luis Rey at the Mission Door; plus images of the Mt. Lowe Railway and Eaton Falls in the Pasadena / Altadena area.
