VREDEMAN DE VRIES, Hans (1527 - circa 1606) after, by Pieter van der BORCHT (1545-1608). Differents Pourtraicts de Menuiserie (New Hollstein 491-507; Berlin Kat. 1220) the complete set of 17 etchings, including title, circa 1583, very good impressions, watermark Hand and Flower, with margins, in generally good condition, in a modern quarter calf binding. Plates: 10 x 7½ in. (255 x 190 mm.) (and similar) Sheets: 13½ x 10 in. (340 x 250 mm.) Provenance: Caproni (according to an inscription on the inside cover). Acquired from Ars Libri, 1985.
