Bidders and buyers agree to be bound by these Conditions of Sale. Despite the efforts of Sampson's to accurately describe each item, these items are for sale "as is". It is the bidder's duty (present or absentee) to directly inspect the item condition. Sampson's is not responsible for typographical errors. Neither Sampson's nor the consignor, make any guarantees or warranties related to the property, No statement anywhere whether oral or written, shall be deemed such a guarantee, warranty or representation. It is the duty of the potential bidder to inspect the property before bidding to determine its condition, size and other factors. The bidder is responsible for contacting Sampson's with any questions prior to sale.

Sampson's Auctioneers reserves the right to withdraw any lot at any time before the commencement of bidding and will have no liability whatsoever for such withdrawal.

Due to the age of the items we specialize in, all items are sold for the purposes of display, not functionality. If electrical, mechanical, or other working parts are found dysfunctional, (even if working at the time of sale) we are not liable.

Questions pertaining to upcoming auction items should be submitted at least 48 hours before the start of the sale. We will make every effort to answer all questions as quickly as possible, but we cannot guarantee that questions sent less than 48-hours before the sale will be answered in time. Returns are not accepted under any circumstances.

Payment Terms: Please note that Sampson's requires payment within three days of the auction. You can pay securely online with credit card. If you call us to pay with a Visa or Master Card, we will request an emailed image of both the credit card (back and front) and a piece of matching government issued identification. Otherwise, we can wait until the account has cleared (which takes up to 60 days).If you prefer, we can provide you with our details for wire transfer (additional $17 fee) or an Interac e-transfer. We can force payment on your credit card through WePay if you have not provided payment within five days.

Packing & Shipping

We are not responsible for shipping costs. It is the bidder's responsibility to consider shipping, handling & insurance costs when bidding on items.

We offer in person pickup or shipping on most items.

We do offering shipping services via CanadaPost for most of our items at the cost of the buyer. If a listing is stated as "NO SHIPPING PICK UP ONLY", it is the buyers responsibility to pickup in person or arrange their own shipping service.
