Description

Vincent D'Agostino (American, 1898-1981), "The City"; watercolor; 19" x 23 1/2"; signed, titled, and dated 1930 verso. Born in Chicago, D'Agostino studied at the Art Institute of Chicago and also with George Bellows and Charles Hawthorne. He was also a WPA artist and was a professor of art at Woodbury college, California from 1949 to 1954.
