his head turned dexter, with loosely tied shirt and draped coat, signed and dated Tilgner 1890, the rear with indistinct incised inscription and later numbered and marked 3625, Sonnenthal, raised on a black painted fluted half column base, 48cm high; together with an unsigned terracotta portrait bust of a lady, possibly by the same hand, with elaborate curled coiffure and frilled décolleté, on ebonised wood waisted circular socle base, some minor damages, 80cm high (31.5" high)
