Two unframed watercolors on paper glued to board depicting characters from the opera/ballet Esmeralda which we believe were stage adaptions of Victor Hugo's 1831 novel "The Hunchback of Notre Dame". Signed bottom center/left in Cyrillic and dated "1918". SIZE: 12-1/4" x 7-3/4". CONDITION: One has 1-1/2" sq area of paper loss to left of face and losses to right of face.
