Demmler (American, 1888-1918), West Wind, unsigned, inscribed "Lucien Price" in pencil on the reverse, identified and inscribed "...Painted by Fred Demmler about 1911-12/Given by the Demmler family to Frederick N. Middleton of Hudson, Massachusetts./October 26, 1919" on the paper backing; and American School, 20th Century, Lake View through Autumn Trees, signed "McCl..." l.r. Both oil on canvasboard, sizes to 9 x 11 in., both in Arts & Crafts frames. Condition: Both with surface grime, Trees with subtle bowing to support.
