Two sculptures by Nel Klaassen (1906-1989) Standing nude. Executed in plaster and bronze. One signed with monogram. One with wooden base. H. 44 cm NB: Nel Klaassen, wife of the painter Jaap Bouhuys, studied at the Rijksakademie van beeldende kunsten in Amsterdam during 1928-1932. She was taught by Jan Bronner, Gijsbert Jacobs van den Hof and Richard Roland Holst. In 1932 she was awarded the Prix de Rome. (2x)
