TRATNIK Franc *11.6.1881 in Poland near Kokarje) Monastery courtyard in Ljubljana Oil on canvas, 73 x 59 cm, unframed, undated, signed lower right. Slovenian painter, illustrator and restorer, he studied under prof. V. Brozik and H. Schwaiger, he was active in Prague from 1912, later he was employed by the Museum in Ljubljana as a restorer. He illustrated Czech, German and Slovenian press, he exhibited with Manes in Hagenbund. See T 2/603, Ch 28/130.
