Beautiful collage by Toos Mathot, hand signed and dated. Mathot, Catharina Jacoba Maria born 1951 Gouda Nickname: Toos Toos Mathot is a visual artist, teacher of visual education, art history and art appreciation. She studied painting and drawing at the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague, where she also studied M.O. drawing and art history. She followed International Masterclasses in Surface Glazing Techniques at the Academy in Maastricht. She specialized in art appreciation by following the Colloquium Modern Art, Mythology and Philosophy at the Free Academy, the Open University and the HOVO at the VU in Amsterdam. She specializes in monumental painting and glass art and works on commission for companies and governments. She exhibits regularly in galleries at home and abroad.
