Property from a Distinguished Collection

Born in Tel Aviv, Tomer Ganihar's work often deals with large events or congregations of people. Of these works, the most striking are the photographs of dancing crowds, such as the Shantipi festival, or images of nightclubs, which capture the pulsating music and dance energy. His work was the subject of a one-man exhibition at the Tel Aviv Museum of Art in 2000. He was awarded in 1997 the President's Residence Prize for young artists as well as the Yehoshua Rabinovitz Foundation Grant in 1998.
