Condition: Good
Condition Details: To the unaided eye, the piece looks to be in good condition. Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals fluorescence of artist's pigments in areas where the subject was intended to stand out from the background, such as around the rifle barrel and no signs of restoration. There are areas that appear to have a coating of some unknown substance, possibly from the original matting, all around the perimeter of the piece. Most of this is covered by the current mat. The piece is framed in a cherry wood swan moulding and is in very good condition. The work is under plexiglass.
