The painting is in very good condition with normal wear. With the unaided eye there are no apparent issues. Under UV light there are no apparent signs of restoration. The frame is gold colored wood moulding with a linen liner and a gold colored wood fillet. The work is matted under plexiglass and has not been inspected outside of the frame. Goldplate: Old Gate, Oaxaca. Verso: label: National Academy of Western Art, label: Original Painting by Tom Hill, All Reproduction Rights Reserved by the Artist, handwritten in marker: #1233 "OLD GATE OAXACA" (MEXICO).
