the first titled "Guest Room," watercolor, signed at lower right and dated 2005, matted and framed (SS 11.5 x 15 in.; DOA 21 x 23.5 in.); the second titled "Spellbinder," watercolor, signed and dated 2001 at lower right, unframed (Sheet 13 x 13 in.).



Born in Lumberton, NC, Hammond studied at the Chicago Academy of Fine Arts and East Carolina University. He accepted a position as Instructor of Printmaking, Drawing, and Watercolor at the University of Georgia in Athens.
