the first titled "Spike," intaglio on paper, signed at lower right and numbered 3/25, matted but unframed (SS 12 x 9 in.); the second titled "It Goes Without Saying," engraving, signed lower right and numbered 3/25, matted but unframed (SS 10.5 x 14 in.); and the third titled "Big Sweat and Little Sweat," copper engraving, signed at lower right and dated 2000, numbered 7/24, matted and framed (SS 13 x 18.5 in.; DOA 18.5 x 24 in.).



Born in Lumberton, NC, Hammond studied at the Chicago Academy of Fine Arts and East Carolina University. He accepted a position as Instructor of Printmaking, Drawing, and Watercolor at the University of Georgia in Athens.
