This series was informally titled The Drinking Buddies because these works relate to young men engaged in or suffering from the effects of over-consumption of alcohol or drugs. In Kevin Prokosh's art review of this show he quotes Plug In curator Wayne Baerwald: "He's looking at the socializing and camaraderie that's built up through drinking in North America and Europe."
