THREE JADE FIGURAL CARVINGS

Late Qing Dynasty

The standing deity wearing loose robes holding a
ruyi scepter in hand, the hair tied into a top knot, drilled on both ends for stringing, the stone stained brown in areas; the entertainer of short figure poses wearing loose robes and with a comical expression, the green stone stained brown in areas; the boy with a smiling face and large ears, his hair pulled into two top knots, the knees bent, holding a stalk of lotus leaf, the stone stained dark brown in areas. Deity: 2 3/4in (7cm) high;
Entertainer: 2 3/8in (6cm) high;
Boy: 2 3/4in (7cm) high

Minor surface pitting and wear. Stones altered to induce colors and textures for the appearance of antiquity. Break to the top of the
ruyi staff.
