New York, New York Burton Mansfield, New Haven Connecticut April 1913 from Knoedler & Co. Sold April 7 1933 at "American Landscapes, the private Collection of the Late Burton Mansfield", American Art Association, #57, titled "Summer Morning" Grand Central Art Galleries, according to the label on the reverse, date unknown Private Collection, North Carolina Note: A four page letter written by Dr. Susan Hobbs, author of the forthcoming Dewin catalogue raisonne, outlining the history of this work accompanies this lot.
