Thomas Osbourne Robinson (1904-1976) A theatrical costume design, pen, pencil, wash and watercolour, entitled The Oxford Masque. by Tom Osborne Robinson, the surreal design for the character 'Tyranny' for the Oxford University Dramatic Society production of 'The Masque Of Hope' 1948. Framed and glazed, approx 71cm x 57cm. Note: The character Tyranny was played in this productiuon by David Raeburn, now at New Collage, University Of Oxford where he is Stipendiary Lecturer in Literae Humaniores and Rodewald Lector in Classical Languages.
