Adams from Bellevue, Kentucky", 1877, unsigned, attributed to Thomas Satterwhite Noble, Kentucky/Ohio/New York, 1835-1907, oil on canvas, 12-1/4 x 18-1/4 in.; fine 20th century gilt wood and composition fluted cove molding frame with corner acanthus decoration. Lined with wax and linen, restretched on conservation type stretcher, craquelure, scattered light retouch at small points in sky, at edges and in foreground; frame with minor abrasions.
