This charming imagined view of Rome brings together many of the monuments that most endear the city to its inhabitants and its visitors, set in a typically seductive Roman climate. Amongst the landmarks that the picture evokes are the Bocca della Verità, the standing Dying Gaul, the Colisseum, the Porta San Sebastiano and the Castelli, while the two belltowers in the middle distance are reminiscent of SS. Nereo and Achilleo.
