Thelma Hulbert (1913-1995), London street scene, signed and dated 1946, pastel, 51.5 x 32cm.; 20.25 x 12.5in. * From 1962-72 she taught at Central School of Art and Design. Hulbert took part in numerous exhibitions, including solo shows at Leicester, Redfern and Marjorie Parr Galleries and a retrospective at Whitechapel Art Gallery in 1962. Arts Council, Contemporary Art Society, provincial and foreign galleries hold her work.
