The auction house side, is able to offer and champion artworks from various periods from Asian antiques and across a variety of mediums, whilst offering expert valuations, and being perfectly placed opposite the prestigious British Museum.

Throughout the year Han Collection's Asian Art Auction hosts various online auctions, which include an array of paintings, furniture, and ceramics, among other objects, spanning various design styles, tastes, and budgets.

The auction process is made as exciting and as simple as possible for new and regular clients wanting to buy or sell. Han Collection's Asian Art Auction provides an excellent platform for any client wanting to sell or buy Asian antique artworks.

Buyers and sellers range from clients selling or buying one Lot in particular or those offering a Single Owner Sale of Lots, to collectors, museums and trade specialists. Bloomsbury Auction offers a full and comprehensive 'Asian' style customer-focused service to all its clients, whether they are buying or selling.




Online Bidding Terms and Conditions

The terms and conditions set out below, apply to all online bidding on auction sales conducted by Han Collection, via Invaluable Auctions' online bidding system. By registering to participate in a "Sale" via the online bidding platform, you expressly agree to these terms and conditions.

These Han Collection online bidding Terms and Conditions are supplemental, meaning that they shall apply in addition to the general Conditions of Sale and other terms and conditions applicable to bidders and buyers participating in the subject Sale (collectively, the "Bid Conditions") and shall be deemed incorporated by reference and made a part of the Bid Conditions for such Sale. The general Bid Conditions are published in the catalogue for the Sale (the "Catalogue") and/or on our profile on Invaluable Auctions, among other places. Additional information applicable to the Sale may also be set out in the Catalogue, on our profile, and/or in a notice displayed on Invaluable Auctions' site, and it is your responsibility to review that information. Please be aware that announcements affecting the Sale may also be made via email/profile notice before and during the Sale without prior notice. In registering to bid at any Sale, you agree to the applicable Bid Conditions.


1. Registration
1. Before you can bid via Invaluable's online bidding system, you must register to bid online. The registration page can be accessed by following the link on Invaluable Auctions' website. Please note that you must be registered at least 24 hours prior to the start of any Sale or you may not be able to bid online in that Sale.
2. Once you have registered you should keep your account details strictly confidential and you must not permit any third party to use or access your account on your behalf or otherwise. You will be liable for any and all bids made via your account.
3. You will need to register for each Sale that you wish to bid on. This can be done on Han Collection's profile page and all registering bidders will be subject to Han Collection's approval. Approval is at the sole discretion of Han Collection, registering with Invaluable Auctions, does not guarantee approval for bidding on Han Collection's sales/lot(s).

2. Online Bidding Process
1. Once you have successfully registered for online bidding in a Sale, you will be eligible to bid online at that Sale.
2. Before the Bidder can leave/register a 'Commission bid' for the lot(s) they wish to bid on prior to the sale starting. Please note that Han Collection will only accept Commission Bids given at least 24 hours in advance of the auction start and can not accept Commission Bids during the sale.
3. During a Sale, you can bid for a lot by clicking the Bid Now button. Each bid shall be final and binding as soon as you click the Bid Now button.
4. The current bid will be displayed on your screen during the Sale. In the event of a tie between a bid placed by you online and any other identical bid(s) (including bids made in person at the Sale, telephone bids, absentee bids, and other online bids), it will be at the auctioneer's discretion as to which bid shall be accepted.
5. You acknowledge that you are bidding in a live auction and you agree that each bid submitted as provided in these terms and conditions is irrevocable and cannot be amended or corrected, even if submitted in error and notified to us. You accept full liability for all bids submitted via your online bidding account (including the liability to pay in full and on time in accordance with the Bid Conditions for any lot that is the subject of a successful bid submitted from your account).
6. Please note that Bloomsbury Auction reserves the right to reject a registration to bid online, withdraw its permission for you to use online bidding with Han Collection lots, for any reason at any time prior to, during or after a Sale.
7. Please take note, that if any successful bid is placed near to the end of the sale period, then the sale time shall be extended by 5 minutes and so on and so forth.

3. After the Sale
1. To find out if you have been successful in your bidding, you may check the results that are viewable on your account and on the Invaluable Auctions site, after the Sale.
2. You agree to pay for and collect any lot that is the subject of a successful bid submitted by you or from your online bidding account, in accordance with the Bid Conditions.

4. Delivery

4. If the Bidder decides not to proceed with the third-party shipper's quote, the Bidder will need to arrange its own collection and delivery of the lot(s) purchased.

5. Forgeries.
Notwithstanding the preceding Condition, any Lot which proves to be a deliberate forgery (as defined) may be returned to us by you within 14 days of the auction provided it is in the same condition as when bought and is accompanied by documents/details identifying it from the relevant catalogue description and a written statement of proof of deliberate forgery. Han Collection may require the buyer to obtain at the Bidder's cost, the reports of two independent and recognised experts in the field, mutually acceptable to Han Collection and the buyer.
If we, Han Collection are satisfied from the evidence presented, that the purchased Lot is a deliberate forgery, then we shall refund the money paid by the Bidder for the Lot, including any buyer's premium, provided that, (1) if the catalogue description reflected the accepted view of scholars and experts as at the date of sale or (2) if you personally are not able to transfer a good and marketable item to us, you shall have no rights under this condition.
The right of return provided by this Condition is additional to any right or remedy provided by law or by these Conditions of Sale.

6. Returns Policy
All items purchased through Han Collection may be returned within the following timeframe and at your own risk. You must inform us of your intention to return the item(s) to us within 14 days, from the day of physical receipt of the item(s), (or in the possession of a third party other than the courier). You need to return the item(s) to us without undue delay and no later than 14 days after the day you have informed us of your intention to return the item(s). Until the goods are returned to us, Han Collection, you are responsible for the goods, including but not limited to, any loss, damage or if any of the item(s) are destroyed before reaching Han Collection.

Please note that all returns are subject to the following terms and conditions:
1. Descriptions: Any representation in any catalogue or otherwise as to the origin, date, age, attribution, genuineness or estimated selling price of any lot is a statement of opinion only. Such statements do not constitute a representation, warranty or assumption of liability by Han Collection in relation to the lot. Any prospective buyer should satisfy themselves prior to the sale as to the reliability of the catalogue description.
2. Condition: Buyers are responsible for satisfying themselves concerning the condition of the property. All lots are sold as seen.
3. Refunds: We will only make a refund using the same method of payment originally used by you, the Bidder, to pay for your purchase, or by bank transfer. Your refund will be processed as soon as possible and in any event within no more than 28 days of the day you have given us notice of cancellation.

7. Changes to These Terms and Conditions
1. We, Han Collection, may, from time to time make changes to these terms and conditions. Any changes will be posted on our profile on Invaluable Auctions' website and we will endeavour to notify you of the changes by means of a notice and link to the revised terms and conditions. Please review these terms and conditions regularly to ensure you are aware of any changes made. If you use online bidding after changes have been made and posted, you shall be deemed to have agreed to such changes. If you do not agree to such changes, you should not make any subsequent use of the online bidding service, in doing so, you agree to the updated terms and conditions.

The condition of items is stated in the online catalogue via Invaluable's website. Buyers can request condition reports for any item offered at auction but, are encouraged to view lots in person prior to bidding, to satisfy themselves as to the accuracy of the description and condition of lot(s).

Payment
If you are the successful Bidder, you will be emailed an invoice setting out the lot(s) hammer price plus the added Buyer's Premium and any other applicable charges. All purchased Lot(s) must be paid for on the day of the auction. Payment is accepted by debit card, credit card, bank transfer or cash. Buyers are welcome to pay via alternative methods of payment but are required to pay any additional charges incurred by using this payment method. We cannot and do not accept cheques or PayPal transfer. Once all amounts owed are received by Bloomsbury Auction in cleared funds, title of ownership shall pass to the successful Bidder.

Selling

Please remember that all estimates are provisional and subject to change following inspection of the item(s) by one of our specialists. If we determine that we are best positioned to sell your item(s) on your behalf, a specialist will recommend the most appropriate sale and date in which to garner the best outcome for the item(s) and both parties. This will ensure that the item(s) receive the best possible bidding. You will then be asked to sign a Sellers Agreement outlining our terms, conditions and any charges.

After the Sale
Following the sale, results will be emailed to you and payment will be sent via bank transfer 30 days after the sale, the payment sent, will be based upon the hammer price, less any charges and agreed expenses. If a buyer was not found for your item(s) we recommend that you contact Han Collection to discuss collecting the item(s) or the option of re-offering the item(s) for sale.

All property shall be paid for and removed by the purchaser at his/her expense within seven (7) days of sale and, if not so removed, may be sold by the Company, or sent by the Company to a public warehouse, at the sole risk and charge of the purchaser(s), and the Company may prohibit the purchaser from participating, directly or indirectly, as a bidder or purchaser in any future sale or sales. The Company will not be responsible for any loss, damage, theft, or otherwise responsible for any goods left in the Company's possession after seven (7) days. If the foregoing conditions or any applicable provisions of law are not complied with, in addition to other remedies available to the Company and the Consignor (including without limitation the right to hold the purchaser(s) liable for the bid price) the Company, at its option, may either cancel the sale, retaining as liquidated damages all payments made by the purchaser(s), or resell the property. In such event, the purchaser(s) shall remain liable for any deficiency in the original purchase price and will also be responsible for all costs, including warehousing, the expense of the ultimate sale, and the Company's commission at its regular rates together with all related and incidental charges, including legal fees. South Florida Auctions and Imperial Auction reserve the right to accept cash, check or bank wire as the only forms of payment for any invoice. 8. Unless the sale is advertised and announced as "without reserve", each lot is offered subject to a reserve and the Company may implement such reserves by bidding through its representatives on behalf of the Consignors. In certain instances, the Consignor may pay less than the standard commission rate where the Company or its representative is a successful bidder on behalf of the Consignor. Where the Consignor is indebted to the Company, the Company may have an interest in the offered lots and the proceeds therefrom other than the broker's Commissions, and all sales are subject to any such interest. 9. No "buy" bids shall be accepted at any time for any purpose. 10. Any pre-sale bids must be left in writing with the Company via our website or by fax prior to commencement of offer of the first lot of any sale. The Company's copy of any such bid shall conclusively be deemed to be the sole evidence of same, and the Company shall not be held responsible for any failure to execute any pre-sale bid. 11. A buyer's premium will be added to the successful bid price and is payable by the purchaser as part of the total purchase price. The buyer's premium is 18.0% of the successful bid price. 12. South Florida Auctions and Imperial Auction reserves the right to withdraw any property at any time before the fall of the hammer in its sole and exclusive discretion. 4. Unless otherwise announced by the auctioneer at the time of sale, all bids are per lot as numbered in the printed catalogue. South Florida Auctions and Imperial Auction reserves the right to determine any and all matters regarding the order, precedence or appropriate increment of bids or the constitution of lots. 5. The highest bidder acknowledged by the auctioneer shall be the purchaser. In the event of any dispute between bidders, the auctioneer shall have the sole and final discretion either to determine the successful bidder or to re-offer and resell the article in dispute. If any dispute arises after sale, the Company's sale record shall be conclusive in all respects. 6. Upon the fall of the hammer, title to any offered lot or article will immediately pass to the highest bidder as determined in the exclusive discretion of the auctioneer. Such bidder thereupon assumes full risk and responsibility for the property sold, agrees to sign any requested confirmation of purchase, and agrees to pay the full purchase price therefore or such part upon such terms as the Company may require. All property shall be paid for and removed by the purchaser at his/her expense within seven (7) days of sale and, if not so removed, may be sold by the Company, or sent by the Company to a public warehouse, at the sole risk and charge of the purchaser(s), and the Company may prohibit the purchaser from participating, directly or indirectly, as a bidder or purchaser in any future sale or sales. The Company will not be responsible for any loss, damage, theft, or otherwise responsible for any goods left in the Company's possession after seven (7) days. If the foregoing conditions or any applicable provisions of law are not complied with, in addition to other remedies available to the Company and the Consignor (including without limitation the right to hold the purchaser(s) liable for the bid price) the Company, at its option, may either cancel the sale, retaining as liquidated damages all payments made by the purchaser(s), or resell the property. In such event, the purchaser(s) shall remain liable for any deficiency in the original purchase price and will also be responsible for all costs, including warehousing, the expense of the ultimate sale, and the Company's commission at its regular rates together with all related and incidental charges, including legal fees. Payment is a precondition to removal. Payment shall be by cash (In House Only), money order, merchant Visa/MC, certified check or similar bank draft, or any other method approved by the Company to include PayPal. The Company will charge interest of one and one-half percent (1 1/2%) per month on any balance remaining thirty (30) days after the day of sale. Any exceptions must be made upon the Company's written approval of credit prior to sale. South Florida Auctions and Imperial Auction reserve the right to accept cash, check or bank wire as the only forms of payment for any invoice. 8. Unless the sale is advertised and announced as "without reserve", each lot is offered subject to a reserve and the Company may implement such reserves by bidding through its representatives on behalf of the Consignors. In certain instances, the Consignor may pay less than the standard commission rate where the Company or its representative is a successful bidder on behalf of the Consignor. Where the Consignor is indebted to the Company, the Company may have an interest in the offered lots and the proceeds therefrom other than the broker's Commissions, and all sales are subject to any such interest. 9. No "buy" bids shall be accepted at any time for any purpose. 10. Any pre-sale bids must be left in writing with the Company via our website or by fax prior to commencement of offer of the first lot of any sale. The Company's copy of any such bid shall conclusively be deemed to be the sole evidence of same, and the Company shall not be held responsible for any failure to execute any pre-sale bid. 11. A buyer's premium will be added to the successful bid price and is payable by the purchaser as part of the total purchase price. The buyer's premium is 18.0% of the successful bid price. 12. Unless exempted by law from the payment thereof, the purchaser will be required to pay any and all applicable state and/or local sales taxes. Deliveries to be made outside the state where a sale is conducted may therefore be subject to a corresponding or compensating tax in another state. All statements made the date of auction take precedence over all written materials or advertisements. Any changes to the above will be posted on our website for internet bidders.
