Lot 1388: Terrence Duren Tropical Ceiba Tree Watercolor

Terrence Romaine von Duren (American, 1907-1968), Central or South American scene with a ceiba tree and native figures, watercolor, 19 1/2" x 14 1/4"; signed lower right. Duren graduated from the Art Institute of Chicago in 1929. He is well known for his work as a muralist, costume and set designer.
