Tadek Beutlich died this year at the age of 88. He was an innovative textile artist whose book 'The Technique of Woven Tapestry' is still used by weavers all over the world. He took part in the third and fourth Lausanne Biennales and was included in many exhibitions dedicated to the British Artist Craftsman including the Victoria and Albert Museum's 1965 exhibition for Weaving for Walls: Modern British Wall Hangings and Rugs. Often undervalued in this country, his work is represented in many public and private international collections.
