Enamel, gold and silver-leaf stoneware tea bowl Impressed seal Soji on base 3 3/8in. (8.6cm.) high With wood box titled Kinsai sokamon chawan (Gold leaves and flower design teabowl), signed So and sealed Suzu NOTES Kyoto potter Suzuki Soji studied with well-known ceramic artists Tomimoto Kenkichi (1886-1963) and Kondo Yuzo (1902-1985). His work is shown at Takashimaya Department Store Gallery and Kuroda Toen Gallery in Tokyo. SALESROOM NOTICE Good condition.
