NOTE

Sung Nakhee is known for creating large wall paintings with colorful, intricate compositions using spray paint and vinyl. Her smaller works on paper and canvas often employ informal materials such as markers and reveal on a more intimate scale the artist's interest in negative and positive, foreground and background. Her images oscillate between eloquent patterns of methodical organization and an agglomeration of colors, lines and shapes that threatens to break free into chaos.
