(1823-1903 French) Young wine taster, framed oil on canvas, approximate image 18 1/4'' x 15 3/4'', carved and gilded European period frame 29'' x 26'', signed lower right and dated indistinctly 18??.

Overall good, needs extensive cleaning due to surface grime which is heavy is several locations, minor faint paint crackling scattered throughout, most noticeable on the shoulder, bicep, chest and hand holding the wine glass, 3/8'' tear in top right area of the girl's hair, needs to be restretched, impression along bottom edge running through the date where painting slipped on frame, frame in poor condition with repaints, losses to profiles and finish.
