Description

This is a hand-signed lithograph by Sophie Busson titled "Cherries" and is pencil-numbered by the artist from a limited edition of 150. Paper measures 30" x 21". Image measures 26" x 20". Comes unframed with a certificate of authenticity. Sophie BUSSON, painter, draftsman, illustrator, lithographer and engraver was born in France in 1945. Sophie likes to introduce symbols, the myth of knowledge, fantasies or dreams in her art. Her characters are out of time, often dressed in draperies in mythical universes, and they lead into a totally fascinating and captivating journey. Her works reveal beauty eroticism related to the themes of her paintings, engravings, and drawings whose subject is often the woman: that of ancient myths or that of a moment of gesture, or a look. The attraction exercised by Sophie Busson's work is also due to the perfection of her drawing, to the mastery, she has of the different techniques she uses, especially engraving. Sophie currently lives and works in Brittany, France.

All international shipments are shipped via USPS Express Mail International, Priority Mail International, FedEx International or UPS Worldwide Express/Expedited (depending on the destination country rules and regulations regarding prohibited items and declared value). For items that are too large for in-house shipment, a gallery approved vendor will be provided for crate and freight services. For framed artwork, since we (New Ideas Auction House) sell the item based on being framed and matted prior to being consigned to the gallery, we (New Ideas Auction House) will not remove any item from the frame and/or matting, unless there is damage to a front glass panel prior to being sold.

You will need to sign for your item and all packages come insured.

Insurance: All items are insured for the full purchase amount unless a written email stating you assume all responsibilities is obtained.

3) Total Sales Price: The total sales price of an item includes (1) the hammer price of the item (2) the buyer's premium (3) applicable sales and other taxes due on account of the sale, (4) packing, shipping transportation and insurance charges.
