LOCH HUMPHREY - an original watercolor by well listed artist Sir James Hubert Medlycott (1841-1929). Signed and dated 09 (1909) by the artist. In near fine condition and on good white watercolor paper. With a sheet size of 11 x 8 inches and a mat size of 16 x 14 inches. Rev. Sir James Hubert Medlycott was educated at Harrow and Trinity College, Cambridge. He was a Vicar of Milborne Port Somerset, from 1870 to 1883, and of Hill, Glouchestershire from 1883 to,1886. Medlycott exhibited at the Royal Institute and the S.B.A.. His work is highly collected and regularly sold at first class auction houses. Highly collectable, especially in the US.
