GODSHILL - an original watercolor by well listed artist Sir James Hubert Medlycott (1841-1929). Signed, titled, and dated 1909 by the artist. In very good condition and on good white watercolor paper. With a sheet size of 8 x 11 inches and a mat size of 12 1/2 x 16 inches. Rev. Sir James Hubert Medlycott was educated at Harrow and Trinity College, Cambridge. He was a Vicar of Milborne Port Somerset, from 1870 to 1883, and of Hill, Glouchestershire from 1883 to,1886. Medlycott exhibited at the Royal Institute and the S.B.A..
