NOTE

A similar picture by Luttichuys, also with a Pronkbeker, silver platter, roemer, wan-li porcelain dish and curtain to the left, is in Poznan, Museum Narodowe.

We are grateful to Dr. Bernd Ebert for confirming Luttichuys' authorship in a recent letter to the owner following first hand inspection. Dr. Ebert will include this picture in his forthcoming catalogue raisonné of the paintings of Simon and Isaac Luttichuys.
