Notes

Bill has no obvious socio-political agenda, no apparent art historical axe to grind. [His work] chews up and spits out culture - particularly a kind of trashy, debased youth culture where every no-hoper's radio is tuned to Ozzy, every stranger is looking for trouble, and every trip has the potential to be a bad one.
(J. Kastner, Simon Bill - Frieze, Issue 19, November-December 2004.)
No VAT will be charged on the hammer price, but VAT at 15% will be added to the buyer's premium which is invoiced on a VAT inclusive basis.
Artist's Resale Right ("droit de Suite"). If the Artist's Resale Right Regulations 2006 apply to this lot, the buyer also agrees to pay us an amount equal to the resale royalty provided for in those Regulations, and we undertake to the buyer to pay such amount to the artist's collection agent.
