Dancer", set on a base. Signed on the bottom of the left foor, "Saito 61". Seiji Saito was born in 1933 in Japan and later immigrated to New York City. He is best known for his sculptures and is exhibited in the Samanthe Gallery in New York City, the NOMA, the Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn and many others. He used many different materials in his sculptures such as stone, bronze and wood. Saito has been a member of the National Sculpture Society since 1970. His pieces are in many private and corporate collections and in many museums including the Issac Delgado Museum of Art, Wichita Museum and the Tochigi Museum in Japan. 14"H x 20"W x 11"D, Circa - 20th C.
