One of the more obvious agit-prop picture books illustrated by Shterenberg in which children are taught to take pride in their mothers who work in factories. He greatly enlivened the rather banal subject with brightly colored minimalist compositions. Includes at the back the song of the same name with lyrics by E. Emden and music by N. Frenkel.
