Inscribed with a poem and signed: Qingxiang Weiren Ji One seal of the artist: Ling Ding Lao Ren LITERATURE Fujii Zensuke, Yurin Taikan (The Yurinkan Collection), Yurinkan, Japan, 1942, Yu Part NOTES (US$51,600-64,500) Note: The inscription on this painting tells that Shitao was travelling with a group of friends from the Wu Zhai studio, together with two of his close friends Huang Yanlu and Tuifu. When they passed by the Red Bridge in a light dirzzle, Yanlu handed him a piece of paper and asked for a painting. This is the result of that excursion.
